Northfork Farms and Outback, LLC will offer an amazing opportunity directed towards our hard-working girl scouts, giving them opportunities to earn patches to advance their achievements.

Girl Scouts can engage in anywhere from 1 activity to all 5 if they want!

Meals will also be available for guests at $5.00/person and will consist of a hot dog, bag of chips, veggies, drink, and dessert.

Offering Patches for: 

Horseback Riding Patch (1 Hour)


  • During the first 30 minutes girls will learn the different brushes and the uses
  • Learn safety such as leading and equipment care
  • During the second 30 minutes there will be a riding lesson on horse

Pan For Gold Patch (1 Hour)


  • Girls will travel down the Lewis and Clark trial to The West and learn about the history of panning for gold.
  • Given a pan, girls will be able to see what it took for someone to make a living, and even be able to keep a piece of “gold” that they discover.
  • Once the girls have discovered the gold they will practice doing Chinese laundry, visit our school house, and participate in a scavenger hunt.

Farm Fun Animal Patch (1 Hour)


  • The girls will visit the petting zoo and learn about habitats of animals that they normally would not be able to see in everyday life such as a monkey, fox, lynx, skunk, and more!

Wild West Patch (1 Hour)


  • Visit the Wild West and learn about the lifestyle and activities such as roping, bucking barrel, old fashioned farming, butter milking, and kids train ride.

Native American Patch (1 Hour)


  • Visit the Native American Village, with archery, hear a story in a tipi, and even play native games and finish with a try on our obstacle course.
