Horse Instructor

Hi, my name is Kate Davis. I am a incoming senior at Williamston High School and have been riding horses my entire life. In the past few years I was part of the State Champion MIHA as well as top 10 in the Nation through IEA. Kate has been coaching under the guidance of Northfork's head coach, Christie Showerman for the past year. Kate will be running our introductory classes. 

​​​Faith Whitt

Counselor

My name is Faith Whitt, I am 18 years old and I am currently a Junior at Oakland University. I am deciding between a pediatric occupational therapy, and elementary education as my future career field.


One of my favorite things to do outside of school is volunteer with a group called OU Cares, they work with kids with autism and in doing so, I can create relationships with others. I have a passion for playing soccer, and I currently am a member of the OU club soccer team. I work two jobs during the school year. Which include coaching elementary aged students in
sports such as basketball, soccer, and baseball, and working with the company Rata2ee, where we create young chefs by promoting healthy baking and cooking techniques to our students of all ages.


My hobbies include camping, hiking, painting, traveling, and working with children.​​

​​​Kaitlyn Ripley

Intermediate Horse Instructor

Kaitlyn Ripley is a senior attending Fowlerville High School. She has been riding with Northfork since she was eight years old. Kaitlyn is currently working on 9th level (business) at the farm. She has trained for the past two years with Northfork's head coach, Christie Showerman to become a riding instructor. Kailtyn plans to attend college in the fall and is excited for summer camp and bring a great passion for coaching students of all ages.

Counselor

Jocelyn has been riding horses since she has been 8 years old. Jocelyn has completed many riding level at Northfork. She enjoys spending time with her two horses. Jocelyn is a recent high school graduate and currently studying to receive her certification in equine and canine massage therapy. Jocelyn specifically enjoys working and mentoring young students.
