Northfork Farms started in 1985 training horses and teaching students how to ride. The farm has accumulated over 65 Quarter Horse World and Reserve champions at the Congress, World, and Nation!!
In 2000, the farm opened up a Horse camp where kids could learn to ride. Riding lessons were given throughout the year. Along with Girl Scout horse and history badges.
In 2001, an 1800 Wild West Adventure was added for field trips, with lots of hands on activities to make learning fun. Each year several changes are made.
In 2003, the West was opened to the public once a year.
In 2006 the West will be opened several times throughout the year to the public.
