Benchmark Field Trips
Experience the Wild West Life like American and Western Frontier Scenes from the 1800’s. Lots of hands on activities, makes learning fun. Preschool to 8th grade
All groups are allowed an additional 1/2 hour for lunch, bus drivers and parking free
Head to Oregon - Lewis and Clark Exihibit, Wagon Ride down Oregon Trail to Indian Village for stories, games, Archery and a nature walk to find polished stones Obstacle course
Back to town for Panning for Gold - will receive gold nugget and bag, Old Fashion Laundry, forts, Farm Animals, Drink and Snack at the Kid Saloon, or Roasting Marshmallows at the Chuck Wagon, Homestead, Old fashion farming, and Corn maze for the fall
Visit Texas with Roping, Bucking barrel, Haunted Alamo, Kids Train to Kansas to see the Stock yard, Pony express and Boot Hill Cemetery, Grooming miniature horses at the stable, pedal vile, one room school house for a lesson on the 1800’s
It takes 3 to 3 and 1/2 hours to go through the West and do all the activates, we will do our best to do as many as possible in the time frame booked.
2 hour trips 7.00 per child
2 _ hour trip 8.50 per child
$150.00 minimum for any field trip
3 hour trip 10.00 per child, this is our most popular trip, pick one activity from the Souvenir package
Any groups that bring 100 kids or more may pick an activity from the Souvenir package
Souvenir packages
1. Craft at blacksmith shop (Native American or Western craft)
2. Pan for Gold (Gold nuggets and bag included, kids can trade for souvenir at bank)
3. Candle making (small candle included). 7 and older
4. Branding on wood, must be done in cool months for fire pit (wood souvenir included)
5. Horse or Pony Rides -- all ages
6. Kids Rodeo, with goats and sheep --- Face Painting and Animal Balloons for the younger kids, Trick Pony Show or Halloween games with trick or treat for Oct.
7. Pumpkin Patch and decorate a pumpkin Oct. field trips
