2009 GLCE Field Trips-- Webberville Mich.

Experience the Wild West Life like Native  American and Western Frontier Scenes from the 1800’s. Lots of hands on activities.

Adventure 1- Indian Village 2 hours, This specializes in the
Native American


Wagon Ride down the Oregon Trail to the Village, Stories in the Tipi, Archery, Nature Walk, Eco Find, Obstacle Course, Native American games, Build a Habitat, Native American Craft, Snack and Drink.

Adventure 2- Town ,2 hours , This specializes in the Pioneer

Lewis and Clark Exhibit, Panning for Gold, trade gold for snack and drink at the kid saloon, Town, Old fashion Wash, Western Craft, Play Forts,  Homestead for stories and butter making , Old Fashion Farming, Scavenger Hunt, .Lesson at the School.

Adventure 3- Texas ,2 hours, This specializes in the Cowboy

Horse or Pony Rides, Bucking Barrel, Roping, Haunted Alamo, Pedal Tractors.

Brushing and leading ponies, Rodeo Games, Farm Animals, Kids Train, Pig Races, Trick Pony Show, Treasure Hunt , Snack and Drink.

Adventure 4- Amazing Race,2 hours, Fun Thinking exercises

Kids will be put into groups and given tasks to do around the Farm, they will be timed.

  Adventure 5- Wagon Train Ride ,2 hours
Wagon ride, up to 45 people , 1 hour tour through the farm land , just like the old days, Bon fire and roasting marshmallows, great in the fall to see the color change--.Horse drawn 1800’s Covered Wagon, seats up  to 20.

Adventure 6- Christmas at Northfork
Open to schools the month of Dec. Call for pricing

Adventure 7- Farm Fun (Jan-March)
Heated petting zoo (feed included)
Puppet show
Farm Craft
Pony rides (indoor arena)
popcorn and juice
 

Adventure 8- Easter at the Farm
Open to schools the week before Easter
 

Priced separate, also available,  Country Western Singer. Comedy Act,

We will always try to run our Horse drawn covered wagon for
every group that books

We will provide ice water, and ask that the kids bring a water container on the hot days.

Hospitality coffee in cool weather.

Final count must be given 48 hours before tour begins.

Please wear closed toe shoes!

Tours are 2 to 4 hours long.

All tours will have guides to help with the activities

We only book one large group ( 100 or more ) or 2 smaller groups 50 to 75 in each group )in a day, we are not open to the public during school field trips.  Max. no of students we can handle at  one time is 250


For small groups 25 or less students, we will be open the second Friday of each month, 10:00 to 12:00

Field trip prices 2 hour tour $7.00 , 3 hour tour $10.00
adults $4.00 for either,  prices are for schools only.

Parking-No Charge


We will be glad to price out a tour for over 3 hours .

Please remember you can add water activities to your tour on hot summer days!
